Can I leave my luggage somewhere?

Yes, at the Nakatsugawa City Tourist Information Center next to JR Nakatsugawa Station (9:00–17:00; ¥700 per item, or ¥500 for up to 2 hours, as published in April 2026). Whether you can leave luggage at Tokiwa-za itself is to be confirmed.

Is there parking?

Parking at Tokiwa-za is to be confirmed. None of the sources we checked mention it.

How do I get to Tokiwa-za?

Take the JR Chūō Line to Nakatsugawa, a Kitaena Kōtsū bus to the Takayama stop (about 19 minutes, ¥590), then walk about 1.6 km. Full directions, including from Magome, are on Getting here.

Can I visit the theater without booking an experience?

To be confirmed. The sources we checked disagree on when Tokiwa-za is open to visitors.
